Welcome To P.E.P. Presents...

Tameside Peer Education Project represents a unique opportunity for young people both in and around the Tameside area to volunteer and promote homelessness awareness.

These young people will ‘ideally’ have personal experience of homelessness, this could be that they have slept on friends sofas, been to local housing providers seeking advice or maybe they have friends who have had these or similar experiences. Whatever their personal stories and knowledge each volunteers lives will have been affected in some way by homelessness issues.

These young people will then be trained up to become peer educators and then tour local schools, colleges and relevant organisations presenting fully interactive, awareness raising workshops around homelessness.
